The rain kept away when Antur held its annual summer fair at the beginning of this month, and everybody enjoyed a day of fun up on the main site in Waunfawr!

Every year, Antur invites local people to join the team for a day of entertainment and fun. The event opened with a special performance by Doniau Cudd from the William Mathias music centre.

Throughout the afternoon, there were donkey rides, bubble and circus skills workshops with local companies Dr Zigs and Cimera, and a variety of stalls selling crafts and fresh produce. Joe was on hand in the polytunnel selling a variety of cuttings, and also handing out gardening tips and advice. Blas y Waun café was also open all day, serving delicious, homemade fayre, using Joe’s fresh vegetables and herbs! All in all, a lovely day!
