The Snowdonia Wildlife Gardening Project was
established in August 2002,
and currently has 13 members, Antur Waunfawr,
Snowdonia National Park Authority, Countryside
council for Wales, Pals Tan y Bwlch, Treborth
Botanical Gardens, Snowdonia Society, Friends of
Croesor, Portmeirion Gardens, Gwynedd, Conway
and Ynys Mon Councils, RSPB and the North Wales
Nature Trust.
Antur Waunfawr is one of the founding members, the
partnership’s purpose is to promote and encourage
wildlife in our gardens. As a Founding partner Antur
Waunfawr is able to provide practical
help and support to individuals, communities and
organisations wanting to encourage wildlife in their
green spaces and have helped establish a wildlife
garden at the Waunfawr Primary School and within communities.
