Recycling Education Opportunities : 01286 679 872 Gwynedd Council's Recycling Team is committed to increase Gwynedd's recycling figures. To help raise awareness a member of the team can offer talks about recycling in schools and for groups and societies. Any school, organisation or society can contact the team to organise a talk, during the day or in the evening. An officer will give a talk about recycling and answer any questions. Gwenllian Roberts, Gwynedd Councils Recycling Education officer and Dafydd Jones from Antur Waunfawr, can also arrange a tour and talk for schools and other groups around the Caergylchu Recycling Centre. Recently 30, year 3 and 4 pupils from Ysgol Llandygai came to visit and learn about recycling at Caergylchu. Gwenllian had previously been to the school to talk about recycling initiatives operating throughout Gwynedd. |
