Office Furniture Clearance and Reuse : 01286 674 155 As an environmental charity one of our main objectives is to put redundant office furniture to good use and prevent it from being needlessly sent to landfill.   We make sure that new homes are found for it with schools, charities, community groups and small businesses throughout Gwynedd and Ynys Mon for little or no cost.   When we cannot pass on items, we break them down into component parts for remanufacturing or multi material recycling. There is no need to waste office furniture – by diverting as much office furniture as possible from landfill we can support and develop local communities. Antur Waunfawr provides a totally flexible and pragmatic approach for organisations who wish to dispose of unwanted furniture. We accept any office furniture in any condition – simply hand over the problem and let us re-use or recycle your office items in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible manner. For every desk that we pass on to non-profit organisations, we divert around 110kg of waste from landfill. To date over 3,000 tonnes of furniture and other material has been recycled by Antur Waunfawr. Over 3000 public, charitable, community and private organisations and individuals have saved thousands of pounds by obtaining their furniture from us. Carefully handling furniture and other recyclable material in the way that we do has created over 20 jobs– provided employment and training opportunities for 17 learning disabled adults and to date supported 32 economically inactive individuals through our Intermediate Labour Market (ILM) programme - scrapping it would have created none of the above.   Our service provides businesses with the opportunity to improve their environmental performance and save costs whilst delivering real social benefits.

How we work: We will assign a nominated person who will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service we contract to provide. Our warehouse will be ready and waiting to offload your furniture according to your move schedule, while you are left free to manage other aspects of the project.  Currently our own fleet of 7.5 and 3.5 tonne tail lift box vans regularly collect furniture and other recyclable materials throughout North West Wales and can collect any amount.     What will it cost to recycle/reuse and dispose of office furniture? For a 3.5 tonne tail lift box van. We charge a nominal £50 + VAT per Collection from a designated location for organisations based in Gwynedd – It can transport 2.5 times more than a standard skip. If you are unable to take all of the items that you wish to dispose of to a central designated point for collection, we can collect “in situ” at an additional cost of £14.50 per hour.
